Where will Kauzas Data Platform run?

Several infrastructures can sit together under one Kauzas architecture.

Frequently asked questions

Does Kauzas rent infrastructure as well?: Yes. Kauzas can rent you infrastructure scoped to what you need.
Is infrastructure included in the licence?: No. Kauzas runs on your existing or preferred infrastructure.
Are SQL, Spark or Notebook usage billed separately?: Not by Kauzas. The compute cost that arises belongs directly to your own infrastructure.
Are all Kauzas components included in the licence?: The Kauzas Data Platform licence covers the Data Platform components within the install and management scope agreed during the proposal. Kauzas AI Platform is licensed separately; the two platforms can be used together or on their own. Licence levels differ by infrastructure scale and operating requirements rather than by withholding features.
Are on-prem and closed-network installs possible?: Yes.
What is the difference between the free PoC and a paid pilot?: The free PoC is a short piece of work that validates one bounded use case technically. A pilot is a paid engagement run at wider scope in the organization's real environment: it runs 8–12 weeks, and if you move to an annual licence the pilot fee is credited against the first year.
